A Little Dab of This & A Little Dash of That

The Latest...

Well, I wanted to write sooner than today, but of course "life" had other plans.

I have made a few updates to April's Holidays, so check them out, as they are usually a cause of a smile, laugh, or thought.

Needless to say, I had no trouble celebrating No Housework Day

As you probably know, there was a NATO airstrike that killed 11 children. Huffington Post posted a photograph that shook me to my core.  I had been working on a post about belief, and keeping the faith, earlier that day.  After I saw the photo, I didn't feel like working on that post.  Hope you understand.

It is a crazy world these days.  It doesn't matter whether I turn on the news, talk to my 85 yr old aunt, or a friend.  We're all in agreement.  These are crazy times.  So, with that, I will do what everyone else is doing; the best I can.

Today, I will count my blessings, and hug them a little tighter.  We're off to the city to see one of my husband's good friends.  And celebrate Barbershop Quartet Day.  Even if it's only to reminisce to a time when barbershop quartets enjoyed their heyday.

May you find much to celebrate today.

S.
