Today is Veterans' Day.
It never feels that "Thank You," is enough. Because, let's face it, it's not and never will be.
For everyone that served or continues to serve in:

Al-Qaeda insurgency in Yemen

Syria
*This is not a complete list- not even close-
How can "thank you" ever touch what has been given, and sacrificed by the soldiers and their loved ones?
All of the soldiers' and their loved ones' precious time on this planet; spent with loved ones, laughing and loving; replaced by bearing witness to the horrors of war, and loss of love, sense, and life.
Say "Thank you." Then GIVE. Of your money, time, and most of all your compassion and an attempt at understanding. An extra moment to think, "What has this stranger in front of me given and sacrificed?"
Make The Connection is the beginning. Take an hour or so to search the web or whatever to find a way to help.
It will never be enough. Even after their war is done, regardless of victory or defeat, they are still giving and sacrificing much.
The least we can do is give what we can.
And still, say, Thank you.
