I took this photo in October of 1985 in the southern part of France, not far from Toulouse. I was an exchange student, spending three weeks with a family in Toulouse, then a week in Paris with other exchange students from my school. We were 17; in a beautiful country where we could drink legally. The rest I'll leave to your imagination...

Even though I have many fond memories of Pfeiffer State Park, since it's fall, I thought I would post the above photo. It was taken in New Hampshire; in October of 1999 on a trip through New England with my then boyfriend- now husband. Needless to say I am sure, many great memories from that trip as well!

The current cover is a shot I took at Brookfield Zoo in August. There are hundreds of butterflies flying about in their screened in exhibit, "Butterflies!"; with 14 different species flying about the day we were there.
I chose this shot for the cover because of it being a gathering of flowers and butterflies. Here are two other favorite shots of the day-😉
